ROADBOND EN 1:
Improves Strength & Durability of Roadbase

ROADBOND EN 1 is used to improve the strength of base material and recycled in-place material.  Field trials and lab tests confirm that soil treated with ROADBOND EN 1 is significantly stronger than untreated material and that the strength improves over time.

This allows reclaimed material and lower quality local base to be used for many projects that would otherwise require more expensive crushed stone base to be transported to the jobsite.  ROADBOND EN 1 saves time, transportation costs and natural resources.

More information about how ROADBOND EN 1 works.

The base course can also be treated with ROADBOND EN 1 for additional strength or the base course requirements can be reduced. Also, reduced quantities of Portland cement can be used depending on load and traffic requirements. ROADBOND EN 1 can strengthen and/or reduce base and conventional stabilizer requirements to better utilize construction dollars.

Base Course Reduction

Because treated base material is stronger than untreated base material, the base thickness can be reduced without reducing the load bearing capacity of the road. This can result in a tremendous savings that is directly related to the cost of the base material.
